Sian’s P.O.V:
“Right Sally I best go. Got to pick Ella from nursery. Kevin do you want me to pick up Jack and take him back to mine?”
“Yeah thanks Sian.”
“It’s the least I could do. I’ll come back tomorrow and see you Sally” I give her a hug.
“Thanks for coming Sian. Tell Ella and Jack hi and that I love them”
“I will”
“Mum, I’m going to go with Sian. I’ll be back later on”
“No Sophie, you have a rest. Go back with Sian and stay at hers. Have a girlie night in”
“Ok mum, love you”
“Love you too”
“Bye” Soph and I say in unison.
“Come on Soph, Ella will love to see you”
We head off to Jack’s school and pick him up. Then head to Ella’s nursery. We get back to mine and give the kids their teas and then tell them to go and play. “Jack be careful with Ella”
“I will Aunty Sian” my heart melted when he said that. I looked at Soph. “He called me Aunty”
“Yeah, well you are like his Aunty. You’ve been there all his life”
“Like you are with Ella” I started to well up and Sophie notices and gives me a hug. “Don’t cry babe”
‘Sniff, sniff’ “I’m sorry, I feel stupid”
“Don’t be daft babe” she rubs my back as I stop crying. I wipe my eyes as we hear a knock on the door. I get up and answer the door. “Ryan….what are you doing here?”
“Came to see you Sian”
“It’s been 4 years Ryan; you can’t turn up just like that”
I hear Sophie shouting from the living room, “Babe who is it?”
“Erm…its Ryan Soph” Soph runs to the door.
“What the fuck are you doing here?”
“Came to see Sian”
“You have no right turning up like this, especially after what you did”
“Sian, I’m so sorry for that, I’m a changed man, I’m not like that anymore, please give me a second chance”
“No Ryan, you lost that when you cheated on me, I don’t care whether you’ve changed, I’ve moved on”
“Moved on, with who?” looks at Ryan then at Soph
“Me, she’s my girlfriend, have been for a while”
“What? You two are lesbo’s now?”
“Yeah, now if you don’t mind, I’d like you to leave” I walk in with Sophie and she shuts the door. “Babe I’m sorry about saying that about us being together”
“Soph you did what you had to, you don’t need to apologise”
“Ok babe, come on, let’s put a DVD on and order a Chinese”
