I'm home early because our washer had to get repaired. Yes, I know, very exciting.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello to everyone! I just had a chance to browse through the f-list. *hugs* to you all.
I'm so busy and tired lately. Still, life is good. (So are my PJs, btw. ;-D)
Radio is on, and NPR is doing their semi-annaul fundraising drive ... urgh. Makes me think of that Simpsons episode in which Homer pledges a ton of money to get them to shut up and then has to run to some Pacific island with missionaries to hide from Betty White and the PBS people! :-D (For the record, I'm a member already ... :-D)
Read a news story from the WSJ about the undecided political races dividing the parties and the nation ... does anyone else out there think this is actually refreshing? Why can't people argue? Since when were we all supposed to fall in line behind one candidate immediately? Sure, that's what happened in the past, but perhaps this is a good development for government?
True, the attacks about people's personal lives are not cool. But arguing about leadership and specific issues like health care and the war? Isn't that what we're SUPPOSED to be doing? I think the media is just getting tired and needs a new conflict to discuss. *sticks tongue out at media*
Okay, I'm off to grade and run and cook dinner and grade some more! Hope you're all doing well.
