Thank you all!
If any of you were so unfortunate as to see my little rant on Tuesday, I apologize. I was angry that the book was leaked. I was also a little jealous - how dare people read it before me! - and bored - though god only knows why; I have a million things I need to be doing! And I'm always self righteous. So, mix the anger, jealousy, boredom, and self-righteousness together, and wallah! The best recipes for a rant ever! Almost as soon as I posted my charming little temper tantrum, I deleted it. It's amazing how silly these things seem after writing them down!
Anyway, I decided to make my last post pre-DH more upbeat (and sappy!). Thanks to all of you for such great conversations these past few years. I hope the discussions and friendships continue, but I know that things will change after canon is "final." And though I haven't always been as "present" as I'd like to have been - I'm still behind on posts, stories, comments, etc. - you all have been an important part of my life. Several of you were instrumental in getting me through graduate school (truly!); many of you have provided me with hours of entertainment; you've all given me so much more to think about when reading Harry Potter ... and just about anything else. And you've all been such a great source of inspiration ... the things you accomplish, the lives you lead, the families you raise, the stories you tell ... brilliant.
So again, THANK YOU!
I'm off to California for a wedding, so I won't be reading the book (or online) until Monday or Tuesday. I hope you all enjoy DH or, if not, enjoy your weekend!
