Friday Five: Tolerance

1.) How’s your tolerance for alcohol?
I don't think I've ever really tested it.  I've certainly never been drunk, and while I may have been buzzed, there's a chance it was more psychological than physical -- being around other silly people makes me act silly.
I have a very low tolerance of other people drinking alcohol, mainly if they show the effects of the alcohol.

2.) How’s your tolerance for noisy neighbors?
I honestly prefer noisy neighbors to quiet ones, because that means I don't have to be concerned about being quiet.  Although I might get annoyed by prolonged shouting or banging, it rarely gets to the point where I act on it (in the form of banging on the wall or ceiling in question).

3.) How’s your tolerance for physical pain?
I have a very low tolerance for the -concept- of pain -- meaning if you say you're going to punch me, I'll flinch, and if you actually do punch me, I'll cry out.  But I've always suspected that I do have a rather high pain tolerance -- I've often had people tell me that an injury must really hurt, when it doesn't. Maybe it's because I've had migraines all my life.  I got used to ignoring it.

4.) How’s your tolerance for intolerant people?
I often witness intolerance from my own friends and family (more-so family).  Mostly I choose to ignore it.  Yes, I'm a horrible person.

5.) How’s your tolerance for bad music?
Pretty high.  The majority of jobs I've held have involved forced listening of bad music of some form or another.  You learn to deal with it.  Or go insane.  Possibly I've just gone insane.
