Friday Five. I'm so bad about these.
1.) Where do you get most of your information about current local events?
Twitter, mainly the KGMB9 feed and retweets, and sometimes the newspaper. It sits on the front table at work, and I'll peek at the paper as I'm coming in; if a headline grabs my eye, I'll grab the paper to read it, but I'm not a regular reader.
2.) Where do you get most of your information about current national and international events?
Same as the above and throw in Yahoo! News. Again I'm not a regular reader, but Yahoo! Mail lists the top headlines in my inbox, and if I see something that interests me, I'll click.
3.) Who in your family always is most likely to know what’s up with everyone else in your family?
The only person in my family that I regularly talk to is my mother, so I usually get other family news from her, unless it pertains to my father's side of the family, in which case I'll hear it from my grandmother.
4.) Who at work (or school) always seems to know what’s going on?
Nobody. My office is plagued with severe communication issues.
5.) What other kinds of news do you try to keep up-to-date on and where do you get it?
I'm not a big newsy person, although I do at least try to keep up with iPhone news. That I get from Twitter. I used to try to stay up to date with my favorite bands but anymore I just don't have time for the drama.
