biggest sigh of relief in my entire life
so yes today London got bombed. Thank God in heaven that my parents happened to be coming to Paris today because the blasts were very near where both of them work and the routes they both take to work and happened at the times they would have been on the trains but no they took the day off work and when they found out about the underground not working (noone in London Underground was telling them anything or knew anything) they went straight to the eurostar terminal and are now in France safe and sound. My sister on the other hand noone could get in touch with her or had done for a few days she came back from Venice a short while ago and I can tell you I was watching tv crying, worrying about her, about to call the emergency line but my wonderful sis emailed the whole family to tell us she's ok and her phone isn't working because the network is overloaded. Samantha who was due to go to Russell Square today to sort some stuff out is also ok, she texted me. So everyoen is safe and all is well but these scenes on tv, my home, the places I used to hang out in, ugh it's so horrifying. And everyone in England and London is so calm but as my mother said it was inevtiable that we'd have a terrorist attack. The government seem to be playing it down so much. 33 casualties conforimed by both CNN and BBC but the gov' are still giving lower figures...and they have no idea who or how it was done...weird.
