Taxes and and being a good liberal....
I did my taxes tonight...I knew I was going to have to pay, so I waited until the last minute. I just didn't know I was going to have to pay so very, very much!
Now, I'm a good liberal, and a firm believer in federal tax. I always pay and I never cheat and I never even really bitch too much about it. It's important, our country needs money to run our country... I think if you make a lot of money you should pay a butt-load of tax. If you make a little bit of money, you should pay tiny little taxes. But what I don't believe in is being penalized for not living in the mainstream. I'm not married, I have no dependents, I don't own a home. And for 3 months this year, I was self-employed. Pretty much, until I either buy a house or squeeze out a kid, I'm screwed.
