Originally uploaded by Deanna's Photos. Did my first triathlon of the season on Saturday. It was a great race, a great morning. I did really well, I was really fast (for me...). Finished right in the middle of the pack for my age group.
Rebecca is such a fun friend to do this with. She kicked my ass, but she is younger than me... She always kicks my ass.
They always have food and beer after the race. It started around 8. The elite folks always start first and finished in around 45 or 50 minutes. I got in the water around 8:30, and it took me an hour twenty-one.
I crossed the finish line a little before 10, the kegs were already tapped and folks were drinking beer.
That's 10 AM.
Triathlon is fun.
