New shuss!
Today we found new shoes ("shuss!") for Katelyn. They are great. I did think about the dinosaur shoes for a while, and the the motorbike ones weren't available in her size, but in the end we - ok, I - settled for astronaut/spaceship.
The shop bloke was the same one who looked slightly scandalised that I'd bought her pirate shoes last year, and presented us with pink & flowery this time too.. ok for checking the newly measured size, but that's about it thank you very much. I don't want to be washing the mud out of those shoes every fricking day, and the only dark colours he had in stock came under the "boy" banner *dun-dun-duuuuuuuun* K confirmed her lack of daintiness by attempting to wreck his window display *cough*
Found some cheapo jelly shoes for her in Quality Seconds the other day too, should be good for the beach etc :)
In other news, I was also looking round the Clarks website in search of shoes for her ladyship. Every single sandal in her size is labelled "boys'". Not that it will stop me from buying anything, but COME ON!
