Comment on this post. I will choose seven interests from your profile and you will explain what they mean and why you are interested in them. Post this along with your answers in your own journal so that others can play along.

Answers for idontlikegravy:

1. kawasaki - I seem to be a serial owner of Kwakas *g* My first bike was a Suzuki TU250X, but since then it's been a Kawasaki GPX250, ZZR600, GPX600R and now Z750. This is not to say that I think Kawasakis are the be all and end all of bikes, they just seem to appear in my line of sight at the right price and right time :)

2. pirates - the Poole Pirates are indeed great, however I've never been to a match (closest I've been is their regular stand at the bike nights on the quay!). Generally speaking my favourite pirates are Jack Sparrow (he who seeketh rum) and Captain Morgan (he of the lasting rum legacy).

3. Poole - home! (these days - I was brought up in Bournemouth, which makes bugger all difference on a map) Just a nice sized town with good beaches, lovely harbour and a decent run of history behind it.

4. pad si-ew - one of my favourite Thai dishes, a regular treat from the local restaurant when hubby and I lived in Sydney. My attempts to replicate this dish at home have always failed *phhhbt* usually due to soggy noodles.

5. rooibos - a South African tree whose leaves make a yummy caffeine-free tea, although Rob insists that it's tree bark really. I was first introduced to it by a uni friend, then rediscovered it during pregnancy.

6. z750 - see answer 1! My current motorcycle, though I still haven't gone for a ride since Katelyn's birth (bad Soph!).

7. Purbeck - t'other side of Poole Harbour, home to many wondrous villages, byways, Corfe Castle and, uh, pubs *g* My parents used to take my lil bruv and I cycling and walking there every Sunday as kids, so there's nostalgia there as well as the Bankes Arms and their microbrews *cough* I mean the Square & Compass' pasties, honest.
