Belated everything!
Tis I, Soph *dramatic entrance a la LeClerc* I'm not sure where all my time has gone recently, but is certainly hasn't been LJ - I've got a bookmarked list of fics as long as my arm to read, and that's just the beginning :p
Where to start, if anywhere?
Belated birthday wishes to dawnrider and idontlikegravy, the latter of whom I have now met *woohoo* I like internet people, especially those whose workplace plays funky tv theme tunes instead of muzak XD
The pirate party was outstanding, other than one small problem: they ran out of beer! Seriously, what kind of party boat sets off with no bitter and only some lager *phhhhhhbt* No real ale either, but we knew that would happen. Photos here.
..and this afternoon I get to see an ENT surgeon fella regarding a lump on the side of my neck. It's been X-rayed, ultrasounded (twice) and drained for cytological testing, and while I'm relieved that all test results appear clear and I don't notice it without a mirror, there is a distinct lack of explanation. In the meantime, said lump is growing again.. The parents, esp my mum (who was treated for benign throat cancer a few years ago), have nagged me into a private consultation instead of waiting another month for the NHS appointment. Please be crossing fingers!
