First up: Happy Birthday
rwarner!
I hope you're having a great day, free of all emergencies bar how many slices of cake to eat :)
Next: the Great Name Debate took a funny turn last night. We've both wondered what how we would cope with a girly girl (given that I never was one and Rob has no sisterly experience), so I sleepily suggested "Kara" on the grounds that Starbuck is not especially girly and likes fast things. Rob then countered with "Daniel" for a boy, so that I could have someone to read mouldy books with.. but we still want Douglas as a boy's middle name and Daniel Douglas doesn't sound right. Before anyone asks, no, Giles is not going to happen *lol*
I think it's safe to say that we have no idea what to call our child.
Lastly: horoscopes!
Every Saturday I get our
local paper, which contains the ubiquitous horoscope section - two, in fact: one in the newspaper itself and another in the weekly tv guide. Most of the time they are suitably vague and occasionally hilarious, but today I got:
"You'd be wise to keep an open diary this week. The events which are forecast to take place in your love life are going to require that everything and everyone else comes second, as Tuesday will soon prove."
The other one came up with:
"If you are waiting to exchange contracts on a property, you may have to grit your teeth to push this over the finishing line. You can also answer the door and find relatives or friends have turned up unexpectedly."
*eep* They're for Virgo, just in case anyone was wondering.
Rob's horoscope (Scorpio) suggested a lot of running around, dealing with a struggling loved one and stressed that he should take things one at a time. My parents' (both Leo) is also pretty spooky: mentions are made of providing taxi services to kids who mess up plans, with a good result and/or heart to heart at the end. Woohoo.
*pats bump* Stay put, ok? Just for a couple more weeks. House move good, unexpected arrival of small children (or in-laws).. preferably left until June. Please? :)
