MegaPlex 2007
We hit up MegaPlex just for saturday. The area was really, really nice. It was right by the water and in turn we got some very nice shots. The con itself was very small. Last time I heard it was still under 200. Smaller than some of my college classes, even! It was weird, walking into the lobby when we got there (mid-day Saturday) and no one was around. It was completely empty and silent. I'm so used to a chaotic lobby at furry cons!
So, due to the small attendence, there really wasn't much to do at all. The artist alley was empty (more than likely because you had to pay for it. Does that even /make/ it an artist alley?) And there were about five dealers in the dealer den. The con only took up one small little hallway of the large hotel. There was a cool little thing with live animals. There was a nubian goat, yay! But other than that it was kinda dead. So instead we went suiting outside of the hotel. We found some cool stuff, including an outside mall with a concert. We suited it up and had a blast!
