AC Report
Yes yes, another AC con report. Thankfully, mine is kinda short.
I actually, well, didn't have an AMAZING time at the con. This was to be expected, to some extent, due to the fact I was Gimp Bacon the whole time. It was a lot of walking (er, crutching) the entire way. And my leg wasn't too happy about that. It was puffy and kinda achey, but I managed. Lots of friends that helped me along the way. :)
This con was the first time I didn't suit, but I wasn't as bummed about it as I thought I'd be. To tell the absolute truth, suiting at AC is kinda sucky. Lots of people say 'lazy furries! it's not that bad a walk' and it's really not. BUT. Once you wait 10+ minutes for the elevators, walk across the bridge, into the con space, and then wander around... all in a hot suit? It's a bit much. Most people I knew weren't suiting barely at all, so I didn't feel too left out.
I did enjoy the atmosphere. It's fun to sit behind a table and watch the con go by. I think for sure next year I will be getting a dealers table. Anyone here know around what time they start selling those?
Met some new people, including YouthCulture, NickWolf, Booboobunny, YiffyJackalCub, Dax, Kitty, and others. That was the best part about the con. The crazy new friends I hung around.
I made some good money, even enough to have some take home work. Erp! I have that, multiple reference art, and some other commission on my plate.
The highlight of my con was a very sweet lady by the badge name of Mandy, who showed a lot of interest in a personal graphic novel project I've been working on. My sketchbook was filled with character designs that she asked about, and when I explained the story line of it, she seemed thrilled. Gave me a lot of fuel to start working on it. She even commissioned a picture of the main characters from me. Good stuff. :)

Next week I'm going to be heading into the central Florida area to be working on a costume project. I'm damn excited. :DDDD
