Post FC... (already)?!?
I'm sitting in the FC airport, gulping down a good dose of old-fashioned PCD. I used to not get PCD, but now that I am very attached to the people I go to cons with, it gets harder to leave each time.
FC 2008 was pretty fun. Not many of people knew I was going as it was a surprise. However, thursday night I was suiting and my knee popped out of joint for a split second. Its still very hard to walk on. I barely suited! Ugh. Last night was the only night I really suited around because it was slightly better. And while I was in suit I was not very active. Sorry to those looking forward to hyper crazy sophie! I just couldn't move around to save my life.
I did manage to tough it out Sat night and romp up on stage with my 'herd'. The all goat crew (Logan, Pludge, Rubix and myself) ended up taking home best in show! So crazy. It was so awesome getting called up on stage very last.the trophy was very pretty. That was totally the con highlight.
Thanks to Katze and Zotcoon who made the con possible for me, and thank you Amsel and Raspberry Roo for putting up with me. I really needed this weekend.
On a less cool note, I am sitting in the airport. Still. I was supposed to leave for my connection in salt lake city three hours ago. Due to weather I was re-routed on a different flight to LA and my direct flight to Orlando will not be getting in until 6am tomorrow.I will get home likely around 7:30am ish. And then I have a class at 9am. Fuuuun.
And now my flight to LA has been delayed an hour. Cry.
