1. billy boyd:
   Billy Boyd is absolutely adorable. If you don't think so when you see him, you will when you hear him speak. And he just seems like such a genuinely nice person that you can't help but like him.
2. children's books:
   I adore children's books. Picture books, chapter books, I don't care. They're like crack to me. I'm currently going through Margaret Peterson Haddix's Shadow Children series.
   I still haven't read a single Harry Potter book, though. I'm sure I would enjoy it, I'm just not...intrigued enough to push it to the top of the list. Plus I already know who the Half-Blood Prince is, and what happens on page 606, so it just doesn't seem as exciting now. :)
3. elliott smith:
   Elliott Smith records are some of the few that I can listen to beginning to end on repeat. Besides the fact that they're amazing, there's just something calming and a little nostalgic about them to me.
4. flute:
   Oooh, once upon a time I played the flute. I still attempt it every now and then, because I do still find it cathartic. Except my fingers are slow now and my lungs are shit, so it's a little depressing.
5. jack sparrow:
   Possibly one of the best fictional characters ever. Plus, I like men in eyeliner.
6. lilacs:
   Mmm, my favorite smell. I love fresh lilacs, but lilac scented things can be a little overbearing.
7. moulin rouge:
   Oh, Moulin Rouge. This takes me back to Saturday night craft nights with Armantrout. We would just watch it on repeat, every saturday night, while we made our little change purses and teddy bears and sock monkeys. It's quite a nice memory, actually, and I still looove the movie.
8. rent:
   RENT! What can I say about Rent? Well, I haven't gotten the DVD yet- no car on campus, very cold outside. I know I definitely want to, because I'm dying to see deleted scenes and special features, but...as much as I adore Rent, I dont know that I'll watch the movie that much. I have this strange phobia about the movie replacing the musical in my mind, so that when I go see it again (in April, yay!) I'll be all surprised and offended by lyrics that weren't in the movie. Like I'll forget about them or something. Weird, I know, but some things I like in my mind just the way they are, and that is one of them.
9. serenity:
   Aaaah, Serenity. Now thaaat is a movie I can, have, and will continue to watch over and over. Perhaps is my complete and utter faith in Joss, but I really had very little worry about Serenity ruining Firefly the way I'm afraid the Rent movie has the potential to ruin the musical. I got to see it four times opening weekend, and it just gets better and better every time. :)
10. the rock:
    hehe this is another good movie. It's funny that it came up, because it was on tv tonight, actually. This is one of those ones we used to watch in the van on the way to Florida, and thus I can repeat almost every line. My roommate was more annoyed than impressed by this when we watched it tonight.
