Well done. Also, I agree. He really gave us a great sense of the characters and really showed us, in perspective the characters emotions and hardships which I like. I love it when someone puts a character in perspective by relating it to modern issues e.g. - how yank was like a school boy who was not part of any group just a part of his own.
