I had a meeting with A.'s teacher today. Thankfully, he's doing great and his teacher is starting to mainstream him into the 1st grade class. A. is doing an excellent job academically, but socially, ...not so hot. His social skills are getting better..I just have to be patient and grateful that he's making improvements. Between trying to change his behaviors and therapy, he has made some progress. I've also started introducing some gluten free foods and it's hit or miss, depending on the texture. If it's too sticky, he won't eat it (I tried it also and it wasn't too appetizing.)
Yoga keeps my stress levels under check. I'm looking for places to teach but this area is saturated with yoga teachers.
I've been writing and submitting short stories to various magazines, haven't heard anything back yet. My fiance is supportive ..but then he shoots me back to reality by saying that "the only way I'd be able to make a living is write what the masses want - all the crap that's on TV." He's probably right, but what can i say, I think I was born in the wrong century.
