One Spiritual Day

One of the reasons why I become enchanted with AMUSE is their stage play. The first stage play I have watched from the was Black & White the story of Tenshi-Akuma like character and Akuma-Tenshi like chara. The play is packed with a lot of ideas that made me pause and think for a long while. I think it took several days before I grasped the ideas in the play. I watched it first without subtitle before I realized there was a sub one. *bricks past self*  OK, fast forward to now. I've watched a number of stage plays and musicals. However, I easily get bored with musicals unless the story line is interesting. *maybe that's the reason I wasn't so keen on watching Tenimyu, although I know it's famous and it has a history of 10 years *showers confetti to Tenimyu people** Well, anyway, I was supposed to write something about One Spiritual Day.

One Spiritual Day is one of the last AMUSE stage play that Yanagisawa, Takahiko starred in. He however is not the star of the show. Rather its another guy who I don't remember the name *gets bricked for name amnesia~ as if there is something like that*. The story revolved around a certain day at the apartment of the hero. At the beginning of the stage play, there was a short introduction about the relationship of the hero and heroine. Our heroes live together in an apartment, they were colleagues. The female was a senior producer while the male was her junior. They live a harmonious life in the apartment, teasing each other, waking each other up, eating together and more. One day, however, while the male character was practicing how he was going to propose to the female character. The female character caught him practicing and when he was about to call someone, she suddenly got irritated, ran out of the apartment and died.

Fast forward. Six Months later.

This is where to story starts Imai, who was supposed to be an angel who leads dead people to heaven, together with the female character went to the apartment. The Female hero was supposed to bring one item from earth to heaven as a souvenir of her life on earth. However, the female insisted she didn't have such and this is where the story begins.

Meanwhile at the apartment, the audience is introduced to different characters that would help the female lead in a way discover things that would lead to her discovering truths about herself and her relationship with her junior.

The cast included Taka-chan who was the male leads cameraman, Izuka Kenta who was a dead rock or visual kei artist, a husband and wife combi~ the wife who wants to be seen on a TV show and a husband who can see dead people but did not realize it, an angel and a fake spiritual master.

Like other AMUSE stage play *No Chikyou Gorgeous is on an entirely different field*, this one happens only in one day and focuses on the simple aspects of life like believing in your dreams and love. It also has that comedic, sad and "ahwww" effect which I think is a common among AMUSE stage plays. I did not find it hard watching even if the only cast I was interested in watching was Ken-chan and Taka-chan.

*ends abruptly*

Oh by the way~ TuT Puppy is choouu Handsome~ puppy why you so handsome? XD
