it gets you gold. so then you can get clothes and shit. it's just a huge forum with a graphical interface. Plus ppl role play on there a lot.

how come i haven't gotten any gold benefits! lol i tried til i noticed the horrible grammar of the majority of the people there, and it made me angry.

you get gold with each post you make, whether it's on a thread or a new topic. you also get gold for just browsing the site, clicking around, visiting the linklist. it's all explained in the welcome to gaia thread for newbies.

The horrible grammar and spelling is explained by the fact that a huge chunk of Gaia users are in the age demographic from 12-16. So that's why you'll find threads solely for ppl 18+. Because we just couldn't handle the immaturity that plagues most of gaia.
