As usual miscellany

I have never really watched Amazing Race, but I was just struck with how amusing it would be for Pete and Patrick to be an Amazing Race Team.  Or maybe Ryan and Brendon (but they would be very faily).

Work one is good, except everyone has quit and a (fairly deserving, so not as irritating) person 3 grades my junior has been promoted to my grade.  Also, many people have quit, but I guess that happens when you lose a big boss.  My work nemesis continues to be the most annoying person on earth and fills me with the desire to to the most petty things, like take out a stopwatch and time how much of the day she spends poking into other people's business and not doing her work.

Theatre work is also good-  I just did a show that went really well, I got to work backstage, and it was very low stress except for all the other people who work for the theatre driving me crazy.  Just because the production manager can't organize himself out of a paper bag doesn't mean that I (the one part-time person left) need to pick of the pieces of the FULL-TIME props master who somehow got stuck painting the set.

I am also working on student driected one acts, designing, and I am a) a little out of practice and b) not able to work as on-the-cheap as I once was, mostly because I can't deal with things that don't quite either fit the actor or what we are going for.

Personally, as usual, not much is going on.  I think my cat might be going deaf.
