[Sheyla had jumped back quickly, glaring at the one who had been about to bump into her - or so it seemed for a second, then she smiled, covering that reflex up just fine.]

Uhm, I'm sorry, I hadn't seen you.

It's alright. How've you been?

Uhm, mostly fine, thank you. I've gotten used to the place, I think.

Have you thought about joining any clubs yet?

I joined the handicraft club, yes. They seem pretty nice.

That's wonderful! I'm part of the cooking club myself, and I absolutely love it there.

[doll_legion]

A cooking club? It must be nice to be able to cook!

Yeah, it is. My parents owned a bakery back home, so I learned how to cook from an early age.

How is it like to have a bakery?

It's pretty cool, although it's a lot of work too. Mom usually had to be up really early to get everything started.

[doll_legion]

[Sheyla nodded, that made sense to her] I guess the reward makes up for that. I don't think waking up so early is that bad.

No, it really isn't, especially once you get used to it.

[doll_legion]

I envy you, it really must have been nice.

How was things for you growing up? What did your parents do?

[doll_legion]

[Sheyla paused a moment, but just a short moment. She couldn't really say the truth, after all. Which was that her actual parents had been shot, along with a lot of other people. Mentioning what her adoptive parents did for a living was so much easier.]

Normal businesspeople, who are working for a japanese company offshot. Nothing as special as yours.
