A library. Every school had them, and Diana found particular comfort in this one. There were books lined up on the shelves along with computers for academic use in which Diana had seated herself in a corner of the room. It was quiet, the perfect environment to work on her studies and think in peace. She had the same sort of environment at home, but ( Read more... )

There was another person in the library, curled up in one of misshapen beanbags that were provided. Her reading material was, well, a little less mature, but it was a detective novel, a Phillip Marlowe book no less. Although it was sharply contrasted by the copy of Winnie the Pooh tucked into her uniform jacket.

"Indeed. I'd like to read Goethe's Faust soon," Diana replied. Her eyes noticed the Phillip Marlowe novel, nodding at it.

Ky was scanning the spines of the titles for something to read for break. Victor Hugo? No, once was enough for that man... he pondered trying another Russian novel but honestly he's not sure if it's any easier in English. Finally he picked up an old classic - 1001 Arabian Nights.

Now where were the reference books here? "Exuse me..." He spoke up.

Diana picked her head up out of the novel she was reading and gave a glance at Ky.

"Yes?" she spoke, hiding the fact that she was a touch annoyed at him tearing her away from one of her favorite parts.
