As the date progressed, Harry felt himself relax more and more, until he was laughing almost too noisily at Draco's stories, and he couldn't keep a smile from his face. He noted happily that Draco too seemed to be enjoying himself.

Damn, but the bastard was bloody hot! Every smirk sent a jolt through Harry and blood pounding toward his groin. His very hard, straining groin.

He was glad when their food finally came, as eating would give him something to do with his hands. He really didn't want to make a fool of himself in such a fancy restaurant.

Harry had needed Draco's help ordering due to the fact that the menu was in French. So was their waiter.

The smiling young man set the steaming plates on the table, saying to Harry,

“Soyez prudent, monsieur. L’assiette est chaude, tout come vous.”

Harry was about to ask Draco what that meant when the man gave a dangerously low growl and sent the disappointed-looking waiter away. Harry was bewildered, and wondered what had just happened. Then Draco spoke gruffly,

"He said your plate is hot. Then he thought he'd chat you up. I'll be telling the manager, of course."

Harry had to smile. Draco was of course a pampered, spoiled-rotten only child. Therefore, Harry was unsurprised by his jealous behavior. In fact, Harry found that he rather liked that Draco felt possessive of him. He certainly couldn't wait to possess Draco.

"No need to get hot under the collar over him. He doesn't matter." Harry felt a bit foolish as he tried to gaze at Draco alluringly, stripping the man with his eyes. Draco squirmed in his seat. "I prefer blonds. Snarky, stuck-up, pretty-boy blonds." He chuckled as Draco narrowed his eyes.

"Just eat, you git."

Draco ordered a dessert for them to share, but would not tell Harry what was coming. He was hoping for a nice piece of rich chocolate cake. So when the new, female waitress brought out a ramekin filled with yellowish custard, Harry was less than thrilled.

"What is that?" He eyed the dish warily.

"It's Crème Brûlée, Harry. It's to die for. Have a bite." Draco held up a spoonful, looking expectant.

"Is it hot or cold?" Harry knew he was stalling for time, and at Draco's challenging eyebrow raise, he sighed and allowed Draco to feed him the confection.

"What did I tell you?" Draco looked extremely smug, patented smirk in place. Harry was too focused on devouring the rest of the Crème Brûlée to care.

"It's so good," he moaned, feeling his face grow hot as his brain caught up with his mouth. "Sorry," he muttered, embarrassed. Glancing at Draco, he noted that the smirk had been replaced by a look of unmistakable longing.

"How about a drink at mine?" Draco asked, his voice breathy. Not wanting to sound too eager, Harry silently nodded his agreement. Draco quickly settled the bill, and they were soon out the door.
