Long story

i've not posted for quite a while - computer probls, health probs - and I've not done any real art for weeks.
But yesterday I discovered an old hard drive in my box of computer bits and was looking through it before reformatting; I found some old stuff of mine from 2001 that I had thought had been lost for ever with a computer crash that year.
It included artwork and writings that I had been getting together for a project - a series of Not-Greetings cards. The idea was to have them looking like arty greetings cards, with an image on the front and words inside. Only the words were random extracts from my personal diaries. Hence the name Not-Greetings cards.

The images were dome straight into Paint Shop Pro with a mouse - hence the roughness - and coloured with textured fill.
Here's three of the images, with accompanying text:

So I wasn't especially bright and chatty, couldn't keep to my resolution to dazzle him with my wit and intelligence.

This should make me happy. But somehow, I'm more depressed.
