Happy Dance!
Today, has been great considering I've skipped work and I've landed myself two independent studies for next year. (happy dance!) In the fall I'm going to be working under Dr. Gagne and help her with her testing subjects, transcribing, and a lot of other things! All I have to do to get a grade is take a compantency exam for the work I'm helping her with and write a over-all experience paper!
In the spring I'm doing my own independent study having to deal with presocial factors, family interaction, and interaction within peer groups. I think I have my thesis figured out, but there is still alot of research to be done before the spring. Then after I get the reserach I'll be presenting it at a conference in the Spring probably at the undergraduate spring research forum, or going to a conference to present it depending on the results of the study! Dr. Gagne, is all for this study and we might base it around elderly. (which is her category of people to study).
Anyways, I'm really excited about next year! so, i'm off to get dinner.
