(no subject)
I guess it's time I updated this thing huh?
Well these last few months have been pretty stressful, but I can finally breathe a sigh of relief....I've finished uni! Yay!!! It's such a weight off my shoulders, this last year, I have absolutely hated uni, the people, the course, the tutors, everything. Maybe I chose the wrong course, maybe it's beause I didn't really click with any of my fellow students, who knows, all I can say is i'm so glad it's over! Now I guess I have to get back to the real world and get on with the mundane task of finding a 'real' job. *sigh* I think I'll give myself a little holiday first, I deserve it....right?
In other news...
I've finally moved in with Nick, three weeks ago to be exact, so we are now officially living in sin, in a gorgeous little attic flat in Muswell Hill! So I've been enjoying playing house and trying to be a domestic goddess and well...failing miserably! Nick still hasn't got a job and I already have to pay his half of the rent next month due to his total lack of responsibilities. *sigh* But he's on his own two feet next month, I've had enough of lending him money all the time!
Another little snippet of news is that my hairdresser asked me to be her model for the Wella Trend Vision Awards (a hairdresser award thingy). So the big day was a couple of weeks ago, I had to walk down a catwalk strutting my stuff infront of 500 people! I was so nervous, I'm an incredibly shy person, so it was a big step for me, especially as all the other models were stick thin and anorexic looking! But.....we won! Yay! Now I have to do it all over again for the UK final infront of even more people! *tremble* It was fun, even though i was very nervous it did boost my confidence a little, although i'm going to be absolutely cacking my pants in September!
