I'm sleepy ...
Look at me! Two updates in as many days! I am getting better at this!!
Had quite a fun day today, didn't go to sleep till about 3 cause Mike and Alex we're playing football on the Xbox and I downloaded the Sims to my phone so I was happy! Got up about 10, went to the gym [to watch the guys play football ... don't get any ideas about me suddenly getting healthy!] then came home, sorted my stuff out and went to meet Vikki. Vik is a girl on my course who I have started working with on my Collaborative Project. I posted a blog about it a few months ago when I was having a breakdown, and my whole project has changed since then. The school I was working with basically treated me like dirt, and I wasn't happy going there every week. I also realised that the direction my work was heading wasn't where I wanted to be so I scrapped the whole project and started again! Not the most sensible of moves when there wasn't much time left, but there was no choice really. I'd rather have to work really hard in a short period of time to get something done that I enjoy than suffer over a long period of tine for something I hate! BASICALLY now I'm working with Vikki and we're exploring chance choreography. We're creating two dances, one performed by a group of three school students, and one performed by us. The dances are created by rolling dice and picking cards, really random stuff! The really scary thing about it is that the dances are created and rehearsed separately, and then for the performance we're just throwing them onstage together and hoping it works!! (If anyone can think of amazing chance related titles for this I'd appreciate it! :p) So anyway, we met up to get some work done, ended up going for lunch instead of going costume shopping *blush* but its ok cause we're going to do that tomorrow instead! Then we went for a rehearsal, where we got quite a lot done!
Then I came home and started trying to design the programmes and posters and stuff ... hard work!!
We've just been round to a mates for drinking and TV watching, was much fun but I'm very ready for bed now!
Final thing before going to bed - We have a staff 40% off week at Peacocks next week ... I'm SO excited because Mike said he's going to treat me with some of his trust fund and buy all my holiday clothes for me :D I <3 him muchly!!
