Chapter Two: His Weakness

Yunho stirred in bed; his eyes slowly opening and adjusting to the sunlight. He blinked drowsily, realizing that the other side of the bed was empty. Rubbing the sleep off his eyes, he got up and slowly made his way out of the bedroom. The smell of freshly brewed coffee soon hit him and he suddenly felt awake and very hungry. Following his nose to the kitchen, Yunho found himself staring at his wife. Sooyoung’s back faced him as she cooked but that didn’t hinder him from noticing that she was wearing a white lace summer dress that flaunted her long, slender legs. He unconsciously licked his lower lip as he silently made his way to her, wrapping his strong arms around her waist.

“Good morning, oppa.” Sooyoung smiled brightly, leaning in his embrace.

“Good morning.” He whispered, nuzzling her neck affectionately. “What are you cooking?”

The short haired brunette turned off the stove and turned in his arms so that she was facing him. “Maple bacon, scrambled eggs, chocolate waffles… you want anything else?”

“You.”

She blushed crimson, whacking his arm playfully. “Oppa, I’m serious!”

“I’m serious too.” Yunho raised his eyebrows, tightening his grip on her slightly. “You know that I’m crazy about you.”

Sooyoung silenced him effectively with a kiss; Yunho responding immediately to it. He lifted her up in his arms and carried her to the island in the middle of the kitchen, setting her gently on the marble counter. His tongue darted forward and she granted him entrance, starting another age old battle of dominance. Sooyoung wrapped her legs around him, pulling him closer to her. Her fingers were tangled in his hair as his hands roamed all over her body. They momentarily for breath but Yunho hurriedly captured her lips once more, kissing her hard.

“I didn’t know you’d still have a lot of energy left in you.” Sooyoung said breathlessly.

He growled lowly, panting heavily in her arms. “What can I say… I’m smitten with my wife.”

“Oppa…” She hid her face against her husband’s chest. “Breakfast?”

“I’m hungry.”

“Sir, we’ll do whatever it takes to get you out of here.” The middle aged lawyer said with all sincerity to the man seated across him.

“There’s no need for that.” Bang Ki Bum smiled thinly. “I don’t want to waste time and money on that.”

The lawyer blinked in surprise. “But sir! You’ll allow Lieutenant Jung to just keep you here?”

“Mr. Seo… The arrested drug lord spoke calmly. “I don’t want to get stressed over that. Besides, I don’t think I’ll stay here for long.”

“Sir, I don’t understand.”

Bang Ki Bum smiled once more. “You’re not supposed to.”

“I’ll pick you up after work, okay?” Yunho reminded his wife as the police car came to a stop outside the boutique Sooyoung worked in.

Sooyoung pouted, childishly folding her arms over her chest. “Do we really have to go to work?”

“As tempting as it may be to just stay at home, we really have to do this.” He sighed as he exited the car. Walking around the vehicle, he opened the passenger door. “I’ll make it up to you later. I promise.”

The short haired brunette raised her eyebrows as her husband helped her out of the car. “Really? How?”

Yunho took the time to shut the door before pressing his body against hers, causing her back to come in contact with the police mobile. “It’s a secret.”

“Oh my gosh you two!” A new voice shrieked at them before they could even kiss. “Don’t do that in public!”

The two broke apart and he couldn’t help but scowl lightly at his wife’s co-worker… and more importantly, his cousin. “Good morning to you too, Jessica Jung.”

“Good morning to you, oppa.” The formerly blonde woman smiled sweetly as she made her way to them. “So much for being a law enforcer.”

Yunho arched an incredulous eyebrow; a smirk reaching his lips. “This coming from the one who was making out with Changmin the other night outside a bar?”

Jessica blushed profusely, turning to his cousin’s wife for support. “Yah, Sooyoungie! Your husband’s bullying me!”

“Children, we all need to go to work now.” The short haired brunette said calmly, rolling her eyes when Yunho stuck his tongue out at Jessica. “Oppa, I’ll see you tonight.”

Despite the fact that his was snickering at them, he planted a chaste kiss on Sooyoung’s lips. “I love you.”

She reached her hand out to caress his face. “I love you too.”

The two women stayed out on the sidewalk as they watched Yunho get ready to leave. With one wink and a wave, he got in his police car and he soon drove off. As soon as they were alone, Jessica began teasing her long time friend; the younger woman teasing her back just as much.

“I swear… you guys are too smitten with each other.” Jessica repeated for the nth time as she arranged the clothes on one of the racks.

“Yah, Sica!” Sooyoung made a face at her, attaching dresses on the hangers. “Move on!”

The long haired brunette shook her head at her friend. “You’re too shy, Soo.”

“Whatever.” Making her way to the black garbage bag on the floor, she picked it up and headed for the door. “I’ll just throw the trash outside.”

Sooyoung stepped outside, humming softly as she made her way to the larger trash bin. But before she could even open the lid, she noticed a black van stop in front of her. A piercing scream escaped her lips as the door of the van swung open and a couple of masked men come out. Dropping the garbage bag on the ground, Sooyoung tried to run away but a pair of arms was around her waist. A masked man pulled her roughly away from the boutique while two others tried to grasp her legs.

“LET GO OF ME!” She screamed at the top of her lungs as she struggled as hard as she could. “HELP ME! JESSICA! HELP! UNNIE!”

“What’s wrong?” Jessica rushed outside upon hearing her dongsaeng’s voice; her eyes widening at the scene that met her. “SOOYOUNG!”

But she was too late. The masked men dragged a struggling Sooyoung into the van, covering her mouth to keep her from screaming. Jessica ran towards the van but its door was soon shut. The panicking and crying woman screamed for help as the van quickly left, not quite believing what just happened.

“Is Sooyoung pregnant yet?” Changmin asked from his spot behind the front desk.

Yunho glared at him, picking up a roll of tissue from a nearby table and throwing it at the younger man. “That’s really not your business.”

The younger man pouted after the tissue roll pegged him squarely on the forehead. “Hyung, that hurts.”

“You won’t die. Anyway, what-” Siwon found himself unable to continue as the sound of breaking glass startled everyone. “What was that?”

All the officers rushed to where the noise came from, finding one of the doors of the entrance was shattered. “What the hell is this…” Hyoyeon picked up a rock that had paper attached to it, knowing that it was thrown at the doors. Removing the paper from the rock, her eyes widened at what was written. “Yunho oppa…”

Do you want to play hide and seek, Jung Yunho?

“What the fuck is this?” Yunho yelled, trying to figure out what it meant. His phone began ringing in his pocket and he answered the call without looking at the caller ID. “Yoboseyo?”

“OPPA! OPPA!” SOOYOUNG WAS KIDNAPPED!” Jessica managed to say in between sobs on the other end of the line. “SOOYOUNG’S GONE!”

“Hyung, what’s happening?!” Changmin asked as soon as he heard his girlfriend’s voice. When Yunho gave no signs of movement, he snatched his phone from him. “Jess?! What happened?”

Siwon shook the younger man, worried and curious at the same time. “What did she say?”

Changmin looked completely shell shocked as he detached his ear from Yunho’s phone. “Sooyoung was kidnapped.”

The truth sank deeper in Yunho, who stood frozen in his spot. Not really thinking about anything coherently, he ran out of the station and headed for his car. He didn’t want to believe it. His wife wasn’t gone.
