The Sims 2 Castaway; Sooyoung/Kyuhyun
Sooyoung felt the life draining out of her but she mustered all the energy she could, pushing her makeshift boat of sorts to the water. Every single minute she spent stranded on that deserted island reminded her of how a huge wave had crashed on the yacht she, her boyfriend and her friends were. Every single minute she spent stranded on that deserted island reminded her of the possibility that they might no longer be alive. She forced herself to look at the glass half full, banking on the possibility that they are still breathing.
Using what little she could save from the wreck and the abundant resources that the forest had, she spent almost all her time building the sturdiest boat-like thing that she could. She could spot another island in plain sight and she had the hopes that at least someone among the loved ones she lost was there. With her boat now on the water, she looked up at the sky and thanked the heavens for the strong wind that day. It blew against the banana leaves that served as her sail and Sooyoung carefully climbed aboard before the boat could get carried past her reach.
Using a piece of driftwood as a paddle, she directed her boat with much difficulty. That island in plain sight served as her goal, pushing her forward when she thought she no longer could. She hadn’t eaten properly the past days and had relied solely on what the forest could offer. It couldn’t be her excuse, however. She had to save them and she permitted a smile to grace her lips when the wind seemed to agree, bringing her closer and closer to her intended destination. It wasn’t that far from the deserted island she came from but she had worried that her boat wouldn’t make it. It was nothing short of a miracle that she had reached the place.
“Sica! Heechul oppa!” She called out as loud as her raspy voice could muster. “Kyuhyun oppa!”
From the corner of her eye, she saw the bushes to her northeast shake. Reaching for the spear that she had made and kept tucked behind her beneath her tattered clothing, Sooyoung could only pray that it wasn’t some untamed animal or else she was definitely screwed. Tears soon fell down her face and her jaw dropped as her boyfriend emerged from the bushes; tattered clothing, dishevelled hair and all.
“Kyu oppa!” The brunette shrieked and launched herself at him, not caring if she probably smelled so bad already. “I was so scared…”
“It’s alright now…” He tried to calm her down, wrapping his long arms around her shaking frame as she sobbed. “What happened? How did you get here? I thought you were dead…”
Sooyoung pulled away a fraction, pointing back to the island she came from. “I was the only one there, oppa. I thought you were gone too…”
Wiping the tears off her face, he pressed a kiss on her lips before reaching for her hand. “C’mon. We need to hurry. Sica’s on the other side of the island. We were trying to build a boat too… or at least I did. We’ve been planning to look for you but thank God you’re alright.”
“Where’s Heechul oppa?” Her eyes went wide with fear.
Kyuhyun opened his mouth to reply but a very distinct half-male, half-female scream cut him off before he got a sound out of his own mouth. Nodding towards to another island somewhere very near west of where they were, his smirk appeared on his face. “He’s safe, Soo. We need to go get him that’s why we need to hurry.”
“Why can’t he just swim? It’s near enough.”
“He doesn’t want to.”
“Oh. Why am I not surprised...”
Smackdown VS Raw 2011; Sooyoung/ Yunho
Sooyoung bit her lower lip worriedly as she watched, along with the thousands in the arena and the millions at home, the match for the World Heavyweight Title take place. Though she was merely a manager in this match and there was no way she could take on a male wrestler, there was still a part of her that hoped she could help Yunho. Right now, blood was gushing from his lip and he was fighting to actually stay alive. It was tables match and Yunho was challenging Taecyeon for the World Heavyweight title. Sooyoung wasn’t sure if all that pain was worth it but she knew that having that title meant the world to Yunho.
Pounding her hands on the apron of the mat, she cheered Yunho on as he struggled against Taecyeon’s submission hold. “C’mon! You can do it! C’mon!”
It did console her that the crowd joined her as she cheered and their combined efforts seemed to give Yunho enough strength; the raven haired man elbowing Taecyeon in the gut twice and freeing himself from the hold. Sooyoung could only gasp as Taecyeon retaliated with a sharp kick to the head, sending Yunho down on the mat. With wide eyes, she watched as Taecyeon walked past a table and towards the turnbuckle, climbing it with a smile on his face as if he believed he was going to with very, very soon.
Sooyoung pounded her hands harder on the apron, knowing that Taecyeon was planning to do some high risk move and she knew that if it went as planned, it was going to be impossible for Yunho to bounce back and win. She sent a prayer up to heaven as Yunho gingerly made his way up to his feet with the help of the ropes just as Taecyeon stood tall on the turnbuckle. Sooyoung could only cover her mouth as Taecyeon leaped off the turnbuckle when Yunho slowly turned around to face him; her eyes nearly popping out of her sockets when Yunho caught him mid-air, wrapping his arms around Taecyeon’s neck and slamming the latter’s body through the table. The bell rang and the crowd cheered wildly.
Yunho won.
“Ladies and gentlemen, your win and the new World Heavyweight Champion… Yunho!”
Sooyoung kept her hand over her mouth, allowing herself to laugh in happiness. She couldn’t quite believe her eyes as the referee exited the ring, only to return a few moments after and handing the World Heavyweight to Yunho. She could breathe a sigh of relief now. Running up the steel steps and sliding easily through the ropes, she threw her arms around the new champion. She felt him laugh as he wrapped an arm around her; his other hand still holding his newly won title. She pulled away, grabbing his hand and raising it in victory as numerous camera flashes went off and the crowd continued to cheer. Fireworks exploded high in the ceiling in celebration and Yunho raised his title in triumph.
“What do you say about hitting the town later and celebrating?” Yunho asked; his voice loud enough for her to hear above the cheers of the crowd.
She nodded, dropping a kiss to the corner of his mouth much to the audience’s pleasure before letting him go. “Sounds great. Congratulations, champ.”
It was with pride as she watched the champion - her champion - celebrate his victory.
Lara Croft Tomb Raider - Legend; Sooyoung/Key
“Noona, are you sure about this?”
Key could only scowl heavily as he watched the monitor of the screen, flashing a live video feed from a camera. Said camera was attached on the lapels of the jacket of a certain girl he really wanted to strangle at the moment. Many times he wished she didn’t have the kind of life she had but she was too much of a free spirit with a past haunting her. She needed her answers and he was going to respect that.
“You worry too much, Key.” A soft voice blasted from the speakers.
“She’s right about that, kid.” Heechul patted his shoulder; the older man standing behind his seat as they watched. “Soo’s a big girl.”
“But look at how many they are!” He frowned, gesturing to the screen as it showed numerous armed men guiding the entrance of some ancient temple looking structure. “Noona, are you sure you can’t wait for a couple of hours? I can come and back you up.”
Sooyoung let out a chuckle, feeling his frustration even when she was all the way in Bolivia hidden behind a boulder. Taking her hand gun out, she quickly loaded it up. “I promise I’m okay.”
“You better be because-” A string of curses soon came out of his mouth as he and Heechul watched Sooyoung slide down a cliff and into the plain sight of the armed men.
Key nearly flew out of his seat as they fired at her while she sought refuge behind one of the enemies’ trucks; Heechul hooking a finger on the collar of his shirt to keep him in place. If he was going to push aside the paranoia he was feeling, he could admit that Sooyoung was definitely holding her own just as she always had, finishing off many of the armed men in a few seconds’ time. Heechul joined Key in cursing when a bullet narrowly missed her by an inch, letting out identical sighs of relief when the last armed man was killed.
“Remind me why you have to go through this again…”
“I need how and what took umma away from me all this years ago.” Her reply was a sad whisper as she went up the steps and into the temple like place. “I know there’s a chance that I can bring her back.”
Key sighed, knowing that she was right. “I hope you do, noona. I hope you do.”
The two men could only watched as Sooyoung found her way through the ancient place; Key leaving his seat somewhere along the way to pace back and front before the monitor. Heechul had taken his place just as Sooyoung reached the very area where she lost her mother back then; the brunette freezing in her tracks as she took in what greeted her - a helicopter looming somewhere in the sky, a handful of armed men, a woman in another helicopter on the ground and a man in a pair of sunglasses, holding the very artefact that could be the key to her answers.
Heechul’s eyes narrowed at the woman in the helicopter, turning his and Key’s microphone off. He didn’t want to alarm Sooyoung more considering she had her hands full. Zooming the camera in, a shocked gasp escaped his lips; his hands coming up to rub his eyes. He wasn’t seeing things… but what he was seeing was impossible.
“No, it can’t be… She’s dead, right?”
His words caught Key’s attention; the younger man coming over and leaning in closer to the screen; a look of his shock on his face.
“Is that Stella noona?”
