Now I remember the merit of Livejournal- and I remember the reason for switching to Facebook for so long. With Facebook, you get convenience in being able to quickly scan through abbreviated statements on what everyone is up to and what the latest funny Youtube vid is. On Livejournal, you get the juicy, meaty details that you might have otherwise gotten from talking to the person.
Plus, I can document what I am up to way better. Sadly, it seems as though I can count on one hand how many people on my friends list still use Livejournal, but oh well. Maybe I will drop each of you a line on FB if I remember who's who.
