Honors Humanities

Honors Humanities night was tonight, and I deliberately didn't inform anyone about it because beforehand I really wasn't looking forward to it. I did not believe that I would do well or be up to par with my performance in teh slightest. Thus, performing something in front of my friends would have just felt like a disappointment.

So for that, I am a bit sorry, because that is a selfish thing when there were a bunch of other really cool presentations to go and see.

Also because my project turned out to be really cool in the end. Well, not really cool, but it still exemplefied five months worth of work and I think I am now finally happy about it. I guess that's reality for you, huh? I am really glad it is out of the way. It is just really nice to have that beast put behind me and I am glad that my teacher came to see mine tonight as opposed to the other session going on at the same time. I had the fortune of her getting to see my project a lot better off. While the first project was good and the second one was creative, I almost feel that in retrospect, mine was the best of our group's in that it was the most impressive and also was simply more pleasing to listen to with more solid and feasible ideas. It makes me really happy actually.

As time goes on and there is more time put between myself and my performance, I keep feeling happier about it, as odd as that sounds. I really did not try to think about it at all earlier, but now I am a lot more. I am really happy with the ideas that I came up with and I am overjoyed that I was able to pull it together for tonight.

Because of this, I am sorry that I did not tell people about it or invite them to come. However, if you want to have your own private show ::winkwink:: or just see what I wrote or hear my songs, I would be happy to oblige, just let me know.

The future brings an AP test tomorrow, the rest of the big English essay exam, as well as two days of work this week and then another project presentation due on Thursday. Other than that, once school is out on Friday I will be in the clear. I would say that once school is out on Thursday I will be in the clear except that I still would have one last day for my essay exam. Beyond that though, I really dont have much more to worry about. Some minimal side projects for my Oregon! class and then just some remedial assignments to occupy us seniors for the rest of our school year are really all I have left. Whoo!
