It sucks to be ten feet from a shooting...
Ok, so Ian and I are in the mall looking for a birthday present for Robin Dodd in the mall. We go in Hot Topic to buy him a shirt, but he doesn't know what size to get so he has to walk out to his car to get his cell phone. Not one minute after he heads for the door I hear a POP!!! I looked outside, but before I realized what it was, I heard a few more POPS!!! I then realized it was gunfire and ducked back inside. The gunfire stopped and I headed back for the openeing of the door only to see Ian running full speed back towards me. He stopped for only a second to see the crime scene, but quickly came over to me and took my hand, "Lets get you home." was all I heard.
It was so fucking scary. Holy shit you have no idea. I thought someone died when I saw the guy laying only a short ways a way from me bleeding through his teeth. But at least he's going to be ok. I thought for a second Ian got shot and it scared me even more with the thought of losing him. He's so important to me...and I don't kow what I would have done. I just hope they catch the sons of bitches that did this and hurt people. Last night is probably the most scary thing that has ever happened to me. The image of that guy laying by the sunglass hut is going to haunt me for a long long time.
