[At the moment, Ai is taken a break and sitting on the steps leading up to her front door. She's wearing an oversized long-sleeved shirt that goes down to her thighs and a large belt that's wrapped around her waist. The clothing and her skin are dotted with what looks like specks of paint.]

[After a few moments, Ai opens the door and smiles up at him. Her hair has been tied back, and she seems to have washed some of the paint off her face.]

Hi! Did you find the place alright? Please, come in.

[She steps back to allow him in, then starts walking over to the small kitchen.]

[He nods slightly at her in greeting; he looks about the same as usual, hands tucked into his coat pockets and his coat wrapped tightly around himself.]

It was not difficult to locate.

[He steps in after her, glancing around at her home.]

[She can't help but giggle slightly at his posture.]

So even angels can get cold?

[A lot of the walls have been scraped of any peeling pain. Various shades of blue have been tested out in places, and Ai has already managed to paint part of the living room a cerulean color.]

I'm mortal, as of now. Normally, we do not feel cold the way humans do, though we're not unaware of it.

[It's just more like how holding your hand inside a freezer briefly; you can feel the cold but aren't cold yourself.]

I see. Do you think there's a way to get your powers back?

[wingsandwill]

There is.

[He has it in his possession at that very moment, actually, though he doesn't reveal it. He knows Ai isn't a threat, but he is so incredibly protective of his grace for so many reasons.]

I will likely a full angel again within a few weeks, at the moment.

[There are arrangements to be made first.]

That's wonderful! You must be very excited.

[Excited isn't quite the word, but it's a close one, and eventually he gives a small nod.]

It has been nearly six months.

[Six months of being powerless and stuck in a body that isn't his. Maybe excited is right after all.]
