What is a name?

So after years of searching through Ancient Persian texts I found out that my name Soorena is spelled in the Old Persian "Surena", it is also spelled "Sorena". I also found out that Surena has an immense history that is paralleled by Rostam in the Shanameh. My next task is to actually read the text in its original Persian.
