Yah, pretty astounding. I think for the ultimate wedding though, you'd need to have Princess Kitty as your bridesmaid, and then some giant mecha as the groomsman. Or you could get married in latex with life sized dancing Sony robots... I can see why you've decided to get married in Japan! ;-)
Seriously, here's to keeping it simple and heartfelt. Japanese weddings are usually large, yes? And it probably wouldn't work as well culturally, but my wedding was pretty small and short, with ~30ish family and friends standing around in a circle in a grove of trees. Anyway, my point, one of the more meaningful parts of our wedding was in-between the opening and our vows we had a few minutes for people to give us spontaneous blessings. Spontaneous because we intentionally didn't give them any warning. :-) I hadn't thought that much about it, but it was neat because it brought everyone into the ceremony. Everyone was still watching us, but they were participating too. The whole thing was pretty hippy, not what I think of when I think of Japan - ancient and ritualistic. You'll have to tell us all about Satoshi's family, and how traditional they are.
Pregnant, yah. Other than some chronic pain issues, and hey, pain is just pain, I'd much rather that than liver failure or something dire, my pregnancy has really been pretty easy. I'm more nervous about the whole birth process, and then there's the walking blindfolded off a cliff into a vast ocean of new responsibility thing.
