My name is Lindsay Campbell. I am a photographer based out of Ontario, Canada. I’m writing you to let you know that a girl on your friendslist (plainjane11) who you thought you knew, has actually been posing as me. I’m not sure if she has been posting photographs in her Livejournal, because it is Friends Only, but according to a friend of hers who she has known online for almost three years, and who just recently found out through a mutual friend of our own, she has been using photographs of me and saying they are photographs of her. I don’t know how you feel about theft like this, but in my world, especially as a photographer, I find it completely unacceptable. This has happened to me on numerous occasions now, however, this is the most extreme case. The guy who told me about this had known “plainjane11/Cortney” online for a few years, and recently found out that it was me he was looking at, not “Cortney”. This woman is a fraud, a fake, and what she has done, even though you may not realize it, is very serious. I don’t understand what compels people to pull stunts like this, but needless to say, I will be taking all actions that I can to rectify this situation. I am informing all of her livejournal friends about this situation, including you. I request that you delete this girl from your friendslist if she has indeed been posing as me on her livejournal as well. Even if she isn’t posting these photographs on her Livejournal, would you really want to be friends with a spineless moron who hides her low self-esteem behind the face of someone she doesn’t even know? I have absolutely no tolerance for low lifes like this, and neither should you.
