Yep, these are some of Data's descendants who interact with the canon cast, the most important (or at least they show up a lot) of each line. (I would have included the Advocate, but while Data considers them his and Ayesha's sons, they're really just his own new class of drones.)
The silver-haired one is Advice 5-12 ("Amaterasu"), and while he's got that Lore thing going on, he's really not a bad guy. Okay, so he wants to overthrow the Data leadership, but he's relatively polite about it. As opposed to the hunky guy (he won't stop cackling about that) who's only polite to his bondmate's wife. He's Lore 1-20 ("Lewd"), and he's the only android with an actual libido, which makes him the most human. When Riker and Geordi want some actual answers of what's going on, they go to him.
Heh, sorry, I'm sure you've noticed I tend to get gabby and forget that the rest of the world doesn't live in my bubble. ^^;
Hmm, how can I sum this up shortly? In the colony new androids are paired with human (or whatever race) children so that the two can "grow up" together. During this time (usually in adolescence) the child will give their android a bretla, or a nickname. Advice's human companion died on an illness at 14, and the last thing she talked to him about was comparing how they met with the Japanese myth of how the gods had to draw out the sun when she became reclusive. He took the name after she died.
The setting's pretty much done, and the basic plotline is planned out. I'm kinda stuck on how the second half should unfold, but have already started punching up the first part. I'm one of those people who can know exactly how a scene goes but will get hung up on phrasing for long periods of time oh hai there Way is Up.
Oh, you have more fic up! I'm so behind and I apologize for that. Need a nice long weekend to catch up

I love the creepy silver-haired one on the left. And the hunky one on the right with the necklace.

What's with the name Amaterasu? Isn't that a Japanese sun goddess?
Have you already written anything for this fic or are you still developing the setting?
