Easy Come, Easy Go
"In time," is what Laurie said to me today.
The past 24 hours has not only solidified what I want for my future, but has taught me that I can't lose sight of that no matter how tough it may be.
Leaving a legacy that I'm proud of and that future generations can look to as an example is what I need to focus on.
My plan for my life has not turned out how I wanted, but as the Lord had planned for me instead. I never thought my plan wouldn't match up with his. He has put me in the presence of wonderful people who are, themselves, leaving a great legacy for the future. They're living by example now, and they give me hope.
So, while this weekend was unexpected, it was good. :)
