rec - Sherlock (BBC TV series)

So, this is a fic in a fandom I know nothing about, yet I go back and read the fic once, twice, five times, a dozen times which, in my case, is compeletely obsessive behaviour.

title and author: The Death and Resurrection of the English Language by wordstrings. There is also a sequel, which is even better. Possibly. *sigh*
summary: *steals from author* Sherlock POV, NC-17. Wherein the English language dies, Sherlock mourns it, and John revives a dead tongue. S/W
quote:
So Sherlock thinks over ways to say it, watching the old woman poison the pigeons with corn. It doesn't seem likely to go well, but he might as well enter the fray with a battle plan.

Microwaves infuriate me.

When all the colours go away, it's just white, and then I can't see your hair.

Everything in the world except you would do well by being burnt to a crisp.

I'm incredible, and if I'm not being incredible constantly, I'm merely a sociopath who likes to think about dying.
