House Cleaning Time
I rarely purge my Friends List and if you are reading this, chances are you won't be one of the purged. I am basically thinking of pruning some accounts that are no longer active on here, or people that have basically checked in once in the past 6 months to post about how then never update any more.
One of the reasons I have enjoyed LJ so much over the years was the interaction with people on here. Posting here for the sake of posting doesn't have a lot of interest to me. I might as well make the entire thing private and write stream of consciousness shit.
EDIT: I pruned a dozen or so accounts. Most hadn't update in more than 2 yrs. If you check in here and find yourself one of the ones I cut and would like to get back in touch. Please leave me a message. Nothing personal about the cuts, just weeding out those people that are not updating. Having said that I made a couple exceptions to the rule for people that I wish were still posting here and secretly hope they return.
I also unfriended two friends ladyoflight2004 and sadsong that have passed away several years ago. I couldn't bring myself to unfriend their orphaned accounts until now.
