it's been a long time.. i shouldn't have left you..without a dope beat to step to [?]
seriously. i have issues when it comes to commitment. i really do. i've wanted to post in here, but i couldn't even think about the ginormous amount of stuff that i missed writing about,
so.. can i pleeeease just post today like i never stopped posting? alrite, i'll give you a quick update on my life in the past month or so...
1.) i'm back together with mark. it was a long and tiring journey but we're back. seeing each other is a constant struggle, it gets tiresome, but it's always worth it when we do.
2.) my 18th bday could have been better, but it wasn't bad. my mom took me to see beauty and the beast on broadway. not what i expected from a disney show, but still pretty good. mark took me pumpkin picking the morning of my birthday to a pumpkin graveyard lol.. idk why all the pumpkins were dead but we picked the best two and bizounced. at night i met my friends at b&e [thank you guys so much for coming on short notice] and then a few of us went bowling afterwards. despite the drama, i missed my carteret friends!!!
3.) ever since my bday, life just hasn't been that great. college is losing that new, "fresh" feel. my classes are getitng harder and harder to take. the workload is ridiculous. i just can't wait until this break.. i'll have a whole week off! ahhhhh should be good should be good.
4.) a few weeks ago, sandi was admitted to the hospital with "meningitis." my roommates and i freaked out, and there was NO ONE around to tell us what to do. the best they could tell us to do was to disinfect everything and not leave the room. so we were quarantined. my dad picked me up, and it turns out that she didn't have meningitis. damn fuckin medicenter. she was really sick in the hospital for a few days though, and when frank and i went to visit her, his car broke down leaving us stranded in linden lolol. he wound up having to spend the night on my living room couch and get his car fixed in the morning. quite an adventure. but we're glad she's okay.
so that's pretty much it. i'll start from this weekend okay? friday was great. sandi and i actually got to hang out and watch battle royale. a class of japanese kids get sent to a deserted island where they have to kill each other off. if more than one person is alive after 3 days, the collars around their necks will explode and everyone will be killed anyway. kind of an extreme version of lord of the flies. crazy asians..
at night we drank a little vodka with frank but i definitely wasn't feeling it. i went upstairs to hang out with jess and her friends, and took 3 shots of tequila. i thought i took two, but my roommates told me i did 3.. insteresting lol. i know the true meaning of that saying now, "one tequila two tequila three tequila floor." ahhh it was a wonderful feeling after the shithole week i had :o)
yesterday, i woke up and went to lunch with my friend pete. we talked for a while over coffee and then i went back to my room.. where i pretty much studied for the rest of the day. sigh. ordering chinese food with my roommates was the highlight of my day. i was invited to a few parties at night, but turned down all of them. too much effin work :o/ i started to think about all of the people that i was supposed to see this weekend and didn't.. and got too depressed to do anything.
this morning was a complete turn around. i woke up to mark! he left carteret first thing in the morning and came to visit me!!! we went to friendly's for lunch and came back here to watch kill bill. he could only stay for a few hours before work, but we made the best of it.
now i'm just sitting here, enjoying my left over orange chicken and celebrating the death of my history review paper. i killed that bitch! i'm done! i'm just taking a break before i study it with my friend tara. and i'm catching up with the annes [rox & jo] who i miss very very much.
tomorrow i'm coming home! not before a huge history exam though :o( mark's coming to get me after my classes and then i'm taking him to hooligans for dinner for his graduation. did i mention that he's done with chubb? he is, and i'm proud ;D
this week, aside from 3 research papers i have due in a week, i'm hoping to catch up with as many people as i can. i made a few good friends here but it doesn't compare to home. ah well, a few more weeks and then it will be over. at this point i just can't wait.
time to resume "loser mode",,. i'll write soon [i promise]
