overload
oh man.. am i weird for loving the rain? okay, i don't like being out in it [unless i'm outside playing and being little kids with my suitemates ;] i just love the way it sounds.. it brings everyone inside.. it washes all of the dirt and dust away.. and it's always sunniest after the rain. i walked from here to the library in the pouring rain before with my umbrella.. it was the best feeling to walk between the raindrops. okay so you may think i'm crazy, but anyway, it's great for a day of no class and all reading ;]
anyway, yesterday was pretty good for a monday. i woke up exhausted, though, and i had two morning classes in a row. talked to the nice boy next to me in poli sci. the funny thing with is, he kept talking about stabbing the annoying kid in the back of the room, and he's going to be a cop. how comforting ;] haha. well with the help of him and my amazingly energetic professor, i managed to stay awake for the entire class. not so much luck in US history. we were sitting in a dark room of the library, sitting in comfy chairs and staring up at a projector.. and i actually fell asleep. sitting up. i NEVER do that, especially in the middle of class. but what a great nap that was :o)
my first year seminar workshop was CANCELLED, so i went with jen & cj to a&p to get hair dye. we got home and dyed cd's hair brown.. it looks really good :o) for the rest of the night i alternated reading political science, philosophy, talking to fred, laughing with sandi, and trying to make sense of an intoxicated khaled. then, at around 2AM, a random guy decided to walk into our dorm and start talking to us.. nataly was brushing her teeth, CJ was in a towel, and me & sandi were in our PJ's. he walked into our room and started talking to us until he realized that we were ignoring him and walked out. we all thought nataly knew him, and nataly thought we knew him, but it turned out that he was a complete fucking stranger. lol. after that we decided it was time to lock our doors and go to bed...
today i slept gloriously late ;D i went to lunch with sandi & CJ, and then went to the library to read. well, i finished philosophy!! woo hooooo. now all i have to do is study for tomorrow's quiz, than read for history, and finish reading for political science. i like my classes but there's so much goddamn reading. if i factor in the social issues homework, whatever that is, i have no idea how i'll finish everything by tomorrow. depending on whether i take the train or mark picks me up for the yankee game, i'll have no time tomorrow to do thursday's work. i might not go =/ only because of all my classes on thurs.. and if mark drives me back tomorrow night, which is the only way i can get back to school, he won't get home until 1am. but, he keeps begging me to go anyway, threatening that he won't go if i don't. blahhhh i don't know what to do
well i'm gonna continue reading so maybe i'll have a little time to go to the gym tonight. i'll write later..
