Effort
How much effort does it take to be nice to someone? Hmmm... no effort at all. So why do some people act like it's going to kill them to be nice, polite and decent? It's not like you're giving someone a limb. It's a smile, and I swear to God your face won't crack. It's a kind word, and I promise you won't go into spontaneous combustion. It's a polite thank you, or excuse me, or please... you will not die from any of this. You aren't going to melt! People are so rude to each other anymore. What the hell is wrong with the world. I don't know. People break other people's hearts for no reason other than they're selfish. People were not put on this earth for other to people to use and then throw away when someone is done with them. Something has to change. I don't think it will, though. If things don't change... well... it's in God's hands, I suppose.
