Phone bill and some other stuff.
So, my cell phone has been turned off for a bit now.
Today, dad says he can give us 100 toward the total bill (which is 191 and some odd change) so that we can get it turned back on so that we have it with us for the drive from TX to DE. He's going to be putting the 100 in our old bank account, which is fine with us.
I still have the debit card for that account, so that's good. Then, we'll only need to pay the last of the amount with our current bank account. Tomorrow I'm going to go up to the bank and find out what would need to be done to transfer the money from that account to the old account, if it's possible. Or, will we need to write ourselves a check and have it deposited then close the account out once it's empty sort of deal.
Gonna go up to wal*mart late tonight, when they're usually doing their stocking, and try to get some boxes. We went to TRU but they'd already disposed of the boxes they had from Thursdays shipment. Go fig :\
We started going through some stuff last night, and today we moved all my tools from the car over to the truck; all that's left is to get the car towed. I found one place that says they'll tow to a salvage yard for free, gonna call them and see what else I can get about how that's done. Then we'll just need to make sure we get Sean's books out of the back seat.
We still have most of the boxes for our game systems, my computer and the scanner, as well as our DVD tower, so that helps a lot there. We just need a box or some bags I'm thinking might be better, since bags will squish, for our clothes. Sean is also going to see if anyone we know might have a Tarp we can use to lay across the bed of the truck to allow for extra storage and cover in case it rains somewhere along the way. And I want to get a latch for the storage thing that our tools are in, since there is several hundred, if not thousand, dollars worth of equipment and tools being hauled in that.
