Ah, the end of another week! It has been so hard to be at work this week. The weather is beautiful and sunny, and the leaves on the trees are bright colors. I wish that I could be home walking the dogs around the lake, or home raking leaves in the lawn, or at an orchard picking apples. Anywhere but on the 23rd floor of a building where I can't see out the windows. Although, perhaps it's better that I can't see out the windows, or I'd be reminded of what I'm missing every time I look up.
This weekend we've decided to take advantage of the great fall weather. We're going to select our pumpkins for a pumpkin party we're going to later this month, and we'll be making the annual trip to the apple orchard. Mmm...lots of apple treats soon to follow! We're also helping out with a beer festival being held downtown tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be beautiful. It will be fun to spend time outside sampling the fall brews.
