A great weekend indeed...
On Friday I flew to Nebraska and surprised my family. Both my mom's and dad's sides of the family had reunions, and originally I wasn't going to be able to make it. At the last minute, I was able to use frequent flier miles to buy a plane ticket to the festivities. I was able to spend time with my mom, my dad, my sister, both sets of grandparents, many aunts and uncles, and even great aunts and uncles. Aside from our wedding, I can't remember the last time I saw my mom and my dad on the same day. College graduation, probably.
It was a really, really good weekend. I flew home and had a late lunch with Ed, and now I'm snuggling with the pups on the couch until it's time to go to work.
