Okay so I'm making this because a lot of people are wondering what's the deal with this dog having a human head and stuff?

First of all, I want to tell you guys that I seriously created this journal months before I started using it. I didn't have a plan for him originally, I was afraid to bring him out to play because I didn't want him to end up similar to my original Italy, and I didn't want to freak anyone out with a human headed animal. It was until I read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein that I felt like doing something relating to the story in a way. I had to do a lot of research during the timeline and plot of the story and how it connected to the author for school, so I was really into the idea of a creator rejecting its creation, like a mother rejecting a child. or in this case, Germany rejecting this dog. Keep in mind, I also picked the 19th century for his setting, because the medical boom was popular and everyone in Europe, especially in Germany, were experimenting on anything they can. Also because the industrial revolution is awesome.

Italy was Germany's creation of mixing human DNA and dog DNA together. However, Italy wasn't the only creation. He was created along with Dog Romano, because yeah Romano always has to be with his brother. The DNA came from one of Germany's dogs (Berlitz, Astor, Blackie, one of them. I'm not going to pick) and one of them birthed them?! As opposed to finding dead bodies, sewing them up and just creating little monsters. Yeah, it's creepy but the whole headcanon is supposed to be creepy.

It's obvious that dog Romano was given away to Spain, because Romano wouldn't behave around Germany, leaving Italy alone to stay. Being successful in breeding a half dog/half human, Germany took the opportunity to show his creation to the world. It backfired, and everyone wanted to kill the puppy (haaaaa) because people felt threatened by his existence (fundamentalists wanted creation to stay in the hands of God and whatnot). This gave Germany no choice but to hide the puppy in his home. He told the public that the "monster" had died due to complications to keep Italy safe from harm. However, the fact that Italy existed affected Germany. People were out to kill the creator because they knew he was able to create different species of man. This left Germany feeling bitter towards the pup and slowly started to reject him, eventually leaving the pup to live alone in the house without anyone to take care of him.

And then the puppy found the meme! \o/

No, that Germany never died. 8U He just left, and no one knows where he is. And Italy speaks German because he never went to Italy ffff. You can say that human DNA came from an Italian though?

And now you know what's up!

-3- I'll be taking questions.
