Haaaaaalllloooooooo!
i'm back! finally...
been out for the past 3 weeks due to an unfortunate grapefruit sized object in my ovary... well, it was once a plum, but because insurance sucks it got to be the size of a grapefruit before they were allowed to take it out. my doctor gave me some gorgeous pictures of it--it's pretty gross but if anyone feels like being grossed out, i'd be happy to show them to you. after that i had surgery and a nice long stay in the hospital... the first day wasn't too bad because i was so out of it and had a little morphine thing hooked up to my hand & could press the button any time i wanted to. but the second day my vein got infiltrated and the morphine and the iv stuff went into my hand instead of my vein and my hand got very pooofy and unfortunate looking. no more morhpine for me... after that it was vicodin for another week or so.
(lovely painkillers... it's so nice not to have to take them any more though)
so that's where i've been.
i'm back in school now, making up a lot of missed assignments & working on a portfolio to try to transfer to the visual arts department for next year... or maybe the year after that. i feel like i need a year off--i've never had a year to myself, figuring things out and not being told what to do. at any rate, though, it's nice to be back in the real world again :)
i'm going to mope another minute though... i didn't get to dress up as a jelly fish for the halloween party this year :( (which was on my birthday) because i was at home in bed.... and then the week after that dzuy went to vegas without me for his birthday :( and saw cirque du soleil :(

hope you all are well--i miss you lots & lots. it'll be great when everyone comes home from christmas. i'm refusing to go anywhere, so i'll be back in ojai. napoleon dynamite is coming out on dvd the 21st, and that certainly calls for an occasion of sorts!
