Missing Wales and the Ladies
I'm very sleepy this morning after rudely being woken up this morning by a sneezing fit at 1:30am. Yes, I was sneezing in my sleep and it woke me up. I tried to forego the allergy pill as I was afraid of ignoring my 4am alarm but I wasn't able to control the sneezing on my own. As a result, I am reeeaaalllly groooooggggyyyy this morning.
Barkley is doing much better now. His paw is healing and I don't see any infection. The vet said it would take a good month to fully heal and not to worry if I see him limping around sometimes. It's going to be tender for a while.
I got to have lunch with
joyfulsanctuary last week. It was so good to see her again and I think we may make this a regular occurance. I also got to have lunch with
moontidemelody on Monday. Her school also has her pretty frazzled so I felt lucky to see her too.
Randi seems to be working out just fine so far. She comes home and we say Hello and maybe chat for a few minutes, then she goes down to her area and I stay in mine. She makes a small amount of noise but usually quiets down by 8pm in time for me to start getting ready for bed. (Yes, I have the same bedtime I had in elementary school. Kills any social life I'd like to have, but then again, my alarm is set for 4am. I feel like a radio DJ.)
It's been about a month and not one person interested on Match.com. My membership runs out at the end of March so I'll not renew at that point. Besides Betty (my reader) didn't sound like I was going to meet anyone there anyway, but she still says "He's" on his way to me.
I need a nap. I'll post more later. I'm too out of it to form coherent thoughts right now. Guess I'll get back to my government job. Hahaha!
